Welcome to our website.
If you can't tell, we really enjoy Christmas, especially
decorating outside.  This is our fourth year synchronizing
the Christmas lights to 'dance' to Christmas songs.

I'd first like to thank my wife for tolerating this hobby.
I spend countless hours programming the music and then a solid
two weeks putting everything up followed by 1 month of
keeping it running and then a few days to take it all down.
Thanks honey!!!

I'm located in St. Charles county (Missouri) surrounded
by the cities of O'Fallon, Dardenne Prairie and Lake St. Louis.
I'm off Highway N right across from the Wehrenberg theater.

For all the people who are concerned about the electrical costs,
I photocopied my 2008 November and December electric bills.
Click here to see the bills.
As you can see, the bill doesn't even double.
Blinking lights saves electricity.

And here's a short video of the electrical meter with all
74295 lights turned on.

I'm frequently asked why I don't use LED lights.  My number one
reason is cost.  The lowest price for a single C9 replacement bulb
is about $1.  I have over 2000 C9 bulbs in the show.  Add in another
150 icicle lights at least $10 a piece and about 800 mini lights at least $5
brings the grand total to replace the lights at $7500.  Way too much
for me.  I don't have corporate sponsors so I'll stick with 99 cent
lights and pay an extra $40 a year on electricity.
The other reason I don't use LED's is because they didn't fade.
They were either on or off or if they did fade it was not
a smooth fade.  This problem has finally been resolved, but again
it costs more for fading LED's than regular LED's.

Although geared towards Christmas we put together a very small
Halloween show this year.  It used a very small amount of lights
and channels.  It turned out OK.  Click here to see it on youtube.
All the songs were picked out by my youngest daughter Kathryn,
who also does all the voiceovers.

We'd like to thank the people who left or sent us your
letters of appreciation.  Your kind words certainly make it
worth the time and effort to put up the display.  You can now
click the guestbook link to leave your comments.

A special thanks to Paul and crew from Armored Electric
for the job they did upgrading our electricity.  I now
have 200 amps of power dedicated to the Christmas lights.
If you are in need of electrical service don't hesitate
to call on Armored Electric at 314-805-0210 serving
the greater St. Louis area.

I hope you have a chance to come on by when the lights are on.
